I had exactly 3 Sweet Pickles books when I was growing up: Goose Goofs Off, Fixed by Camel, and Me Too, Iguana. The Sweet Pickles books focus on 26 different animals, one for each letter of the alphabet. Each animal also has an alliterative personality trait, Accusing Alligator, Bashful Bear, etc.
Before Ike was born, we went on an eBay shopping hunt and managed to get all 26 in the set. I am certain we have read them all already but the boys and I decided for the next few days we'd read 3 a night, in order. Tonight was No Kicks for Dog, Elephant Eats the Profits, and Fish and Flips.
These are really cute books and over the years we've had a several from this collection which became "addict books." That's what I call it when my kids have one book for a while that is the only thing they want to read. Last year Simon had a serious addiction to Turtle Throws a Tantrum. It was right as he was recovering from his own personal tantrum phase and I think it he could really relate to Turtle.
